GiftMonkey lets you get free stuff. But how exactly do you
earn that free stuff?
You'll need to earn points. Here's how:
The quickest way to start
earning points is to complete an offer yourself.
You'll earn
whatever the point value is of the offer you complete.
This
only applies to the first offer you complete though. If you complete
more than one offer, you won't earn points for them but others
will
(more on this later).
Complete a high point offer
first and you'll be well on your way to getting
your free gift.
This is how you'll earn most of your points. Each new GiftMonkey
member
you refer can earn you points. Unlike other freebie sites
that only give you
credit for the first offer your referrals
complete, GiftMonkey gives you
points for EVERY offer your
referrals complete.
So if your referral does an offer worth 2
points, you'll earn 2 points (if it's
their first offer, they'll
earn 2 points as well)
This is a huge advantage because if
each of your referrals does more than
one offer, you'll need far
less referrals. The fewer referrals you need to get
the faster
and easier you'll earn free stuff.
Now here's where it get's
interesting. There are two ways to get referrals:
Refer New Members
This way is pretty simple. You give
your referral link to your friends, family
and add it to a few
places like your MySpace page, blog and forum signature.
Then you
wait for people to sign up and complete an offer. You could also
pay someone to be your referral or do them a favor.
Refer Existing Members
Other referral based freebie
sites only let someone be a referral for one
person. This means
that once someone signs up as a referral for someone,
they can
never be a referral for anyone else.
GiftMonkey members,
however, can change who they are a referral for at
any time and
be a referral for as many others as they wish. This can make
it
a lot easier to find referrals.
How, you ask?
GiftMonkey members can cross-refer each other. Let's say we
have a
member named Bob and another named Steve. Bob and Steve
didn't
join GiftMonkey under each other's referral links but they
can still be a
referral for each other. If Bob completes an
offer, Steve will earn points.
If Steve completes an offer, Bob
will earn points. Bob and Steve can
complete multiple offers for
each other or complete offers for other
members who return the
favor.
This feature means that every new GiftMonkey member is
a potential
referral for every other GiftMonkey member!
On GiftMonkey, you can earn
as much free stuff as you want.
Once you earn your currently
selected gift, you'll be able to select a
new gift, over and
over.
Not only can you get multiple free gifts, you can reuse
your existing
referrals to get them. Let's say you got four
referrals to help you earn
an iPod Nano. Those same four
referrals can complete more offers
for you and help you get your
next free gift!
If you complete more than one offer in a short period of time,
the first
offer completion that is approved will count as your
first. So if you
complete an offer that takes up to 5 days to be
approved and then
an offer that takes up to 2 days, the 2nd offer
will most likely credit
first and be counted as your first
offer.
Uppon ordering your free gift, any unused points will not get
carried
over to your next free gift. Your points will be reset to
